Digital X-Ray
Dr. England has implemented a digital radiograph technology, which utilizes a minimum of 60% less radiation than traditional radiography.
Panorex
The digital panographic machine takes a radiograph of the patient’s entire mouth, which captures images that the typical digital radiographs cannot detect. This technology enables Dr. England to visualize the TMJ (tempomandibular joint), sinus cavities, base of the mandible, and a more accurate view of the third molars (wisdom teeth). What’s more is that this digital panorex is capable of taking an individual isolated radiograph of the TMJ. The digital panorex also emits less radiation than traditional panorex machines.
Intraoral Camera
Dr. England is now using a Schick USB Intraoral camera in his practice. This camera will benefit the patients because it enables him to take digital photographs of his patient’s teeth and oral cavity. These photos are displayed on the hi-def monitors, allowing patients to easily visualize the dental problems that Dr. England has diagnosed.
